Applicants should submit their application by clicking Apply Now.For more information, visit www.abm.comThe HVAC Technician I performs maintenance, repairs and installation of assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical and building systems in accordance with client expectations and requests.Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is requiredMust possess a valid, unexpired driver's licensewilling to organize with Local 636Preferred Qualifications:Three (3) years of HVAC experience is preferredPossession of refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification is preferredTroubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches and controls on electrical systemsUse common tools of the HVAC trade in daily work (e.g multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.)Install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipmentIdentify maintenance risks on equipmentDiagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systemsClean, adjust and repair systems, and performs warranty servicesPerform emergency repairs promptly and efficientlyProvide technical direction and on-the-job trainingKeep daily logs and records of all maintenance functionsEnsure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety ActComply with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirementsAssist with customer queries inquiriesComplete other duties as assignedEntry-level HVAC technicians encouraged to apply
