Lectures, demonstrates, and uses audiovisual teaching aids to present subject matter in class3. Prepares, administers, and corrects tests and records results4. Assigns lessons and corrects papers5. Maintains order in classroom and on playground6. Counsels students when adjustment and academic problems arise7. Discusses students' academic and behavior problems with parents and suggests corrective action8. Keeps attendance and grade records as required by school board9. Observes students to detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and evaluate progress10. Represents the school and the community in a positive manner11. Reports to the principal when there is knowledge or reasonable suspicion that a child's health or welfare has been or appears to have been harmed as a result of abuse or neglect12. Actively promotes the use of computer/technology to develop learning skills13.
