Athletic Trainer for Gig Harbor High School

PRO SPORT, a premier sports medicine practice in Gig Harbor, Washington, is looking for a dedicated Athletic Trainer to join our multidisciplinary team and provide coverage for Gig Harbor High School beginning in early October. At Pro Sport we believe in a team approach to treatment, and take pride in providing high quality care to our high school athletes. As a school ATC you will have the direct support of our orthopedic surgeon and as well as experienced athletic trainers and sports medicine trained PT's and Chiropractors. Our state-of-the-art, 10,000sq ft facility offers in-house x-ray and diagnostic ultrasound as well as isokinetic and force plate testing to assist in diagnostic and return to play decisions. We emphasize evidenced based care and stay current on the latest trends in rehabilitation and manual therapy. We exclusively offer 1:1 appointment blocks that allow our providers to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans and our facility provides the environment to take our athletes from rehab to performance! Currently we are looking for an ATC to provide training room and game coverage at Gig Harbor High school with the potential for a transition to a permanent mixed clinical and team coverage role. Full time and part time positions currently available Mon-Fri with occasional Saturday hours. Positions available at both our Gig Harbor and Silverdale, Washington locations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher NATA/BOC certified Athletic Trainer Licensed in the State of Washington Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment Ability to handle physical workload Strong ability to build rapport with patients Compensation Package: Competitive wages Excellent Medical/dental insurance 3% retirement match Continuing education budget All associated practice expenditures reimbursed Please include cover letter, resume, and why you applied for our position.
