The primary responsibility of the Gas House Coordinator (2 nd Shift) in the Carroll location is to, at the direction of the Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Production Supervisor, fill canisters with products and ensure 2 nd shift production goals are met. This position comes with an expectation of being able to work at a fast pace and be able to meet the daily schedule while executing management directives for 2 nd shift production goals.Monday – Friday; 3:30pm – 2:00am (2nd shift) $22.00 per hour, plus $.65/hr shift differential.Follow off-shift production instructions provided by the Plant Manager or Production Manager/Production Supervisor.Ensure that off-shift production goals are being met as set forth by managementElevate issues to management during the off shift to be addressed accordinglyMaintain strict adherence to all plant safety requirements including wearing proper PPEFollow standard operating procedures, company policies, and safety regulationsPerform start up and shut down of equipmentOperate equipment and monitor qualityReview work order information; key in formula number per work orderSlide the empty canister from the conveyor to the scale, attach the hoses to the canister, and press the button to initiate the filling processMonitor canister weight to ensure accurate product fillingPush filled canister back onto conveyorMay need to fill canister manual if equipment has a glitch; turn PLC off, open valve(s) manually to fill canister to appropriate weightGrease, adjust, or clean specific parts of the production line to keep equipment in optimal condition; use various hand toolsMaintains cleanliness of work areaTrain others when neededHelp with cycle counts when neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or GEDPrevious warehouse or manufacturing experience a plusAbility to communicate effectivelyMust be able to follow specific instructions (work instructions, procedures, etc.), both written and verbalMust be self-motivated, organized, and detail orientedMust be able to work in a non-temperature regulated environmentAbility to work in chemical manufacturing environment, involving solvents and other hazardous materialsAbility to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. and perform other necessary physical requirements in performance of regular job dutiesMust be able to stand for prolonged periodsMust have good attendanceOur compensation is more than a paycheck; it's an investment in your future.
