Bossar Machine Operator - A Shift - $26.44/hr

Bossar Machine OperatorAs a Bossar Machine Operator for Materne North America, you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of the FFS (form, fill, seal) equipment for our manufacturing process. This position is for A shift - Sunday through Tuesday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00am - 7:00pm.Position Responsibilities:Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMILift and add rolls of packaging film into machineObserve materials to identify contamination or foreign materialsInspect pouches for uniformity and qualityDocument all necessary supply inventoriesOperate industrial carts and forklifts in a safe mannerPerform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipmentClean packaging area and sanitize equipmentComplete daily paperwork and reportsPerform and complete sensory testingMust work a minimum of 12 hoursDemonstrate the Company's values and winning behaviors while adhering to all company policies and practices, including safety and environmental protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand for an entire shift (12- hours)Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be able to walk up and down stairs multiple times per shiftEducation:High School diploma or GED preferredTechnical / Trade School preferredExperience:Prior experience working in a manufacturing environmentPrevious experience working in the food industry is a plusKnowledge/Skills:Strong attention to detailAbility to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in EnglishMechanical aptitudeComputer skills (data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures (must be able to take measurements and understand tare weight)Embraces teamwork and thrives in team environment
