This innovative approach ensures better health for individuals and cost savings for businesses, creating a healthcare experience that delivers results.Position OverviewThe Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) role is responsible for providing healthcare services with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, and chronic disease management for the patients BluMine Health serves. The APRN functions as an educator, healthcare resource, consultant, and patient care advocate while providing leadership and guidance to clinical staff. This role provides care for minor injuries, primary care and wellness visits, occupational medicine services, and screening exams for both pre-hire and post-hire evaluations.Job Responsibilities• Perform initial patient screenings, review patient history, conduct physical examinations, and implement preventive health measures.• Perform phlebotomy, urine and body fluid collection, minor procedures, and wound care.• Maintain employee health records within the EMR system, ensuring charting is completed within 48 hours of the visit.• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and healthcare needs.• Record physical findings and develop treatment plans and prognoses based on patient condition.• Review laboratory, X-ray, and emergency reports daily.• Conduct outreach to patients with chronic conditions requiring ongoing management within the clinic.• Design, develop, and deliver new health promotion initiatives.• Conduct a range of risk assessments and health screenings.• Develop return-to-work strategies following serious injury or prolonged illness.• Remain up to date with legal and professional developments related to public health and occupational health and safety.• Visit client locations to assess work environments for potential health and safety concerns.• Deliver a full range of health and safety related training programs.• Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals as required.Hours of OperationMonday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMTuesday and Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
