This role sits at the intersection of engineering, finance, and leadership—driving cloud cost efficiency, forecasting, and optimization strategies.Key Responsibilities:Own cloud cost management (AWS & Azure), including RI & Savings PlansBuild forecasting models for cloud spend and budgetingImplement cost anomaly detection & optimization strategiesPartner with engineering teams to drive FinOps best practicesPresent cost insights and recommendations to leadershipManage tagging, cost allocation, and chargeback modelsRequired Skills:5+ years in cloud operations with FinOps focusStrong experience in AWS & Azure cost management toolsExpertise in RI/SP strategy & utilization optimizationExperience with cost forecasting & anomaly detectionStrong communication with executive stakeholdersPython/SQL for cost analysis & automationNice to Have:FinOps Certification (FOCUS or equivalent)AWS/Azure certifications
