Material Handler

Job Overview: We are currently looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing materials, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the facility. Responsibilities: Perform order picking and packing tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse. Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure proper storage. Assist in loading and unloading trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively. Adhere to safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations, to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet operational goals. Qualifications: Prior experience in materials handling or a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in order picking, load/unload procedures, and warehouse management practices. Familiarity with operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.
