Financial Services Consultant
The Financial Services Consultant is responsible for helping clients achieve their short-term and long-term financial goals through strategic planning, investment guidance, retirement planning, risk management, and overall financial analysis. This role involves building strong client relationships, assessing financial needs, and developing customized financial plans that align with each client’s objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients to assess financial goals, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and risk toleranceDevelop comprehensive financial plans including retirement, investment, tax, estate, insurance, and education planningAnalyze financial data and recommend appropriate strategies and solutionsMonitor client portfolios and financial plans, making adjustments as market conditions or life circumstances changeEducate clients on financial products, investment options, and wealth management strategiesMaintain knowledge of financial markets, economic trends, tax laws, and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain long-term client relationships through exceptional service and communicationCollaborate with accountants, attorneys, and other financial professionals when necessaryEnsure compliance with industry regulations and company policiesGenerate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and client retention strategiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field2+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, banking, or investment advising preferredStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and professional mannerProficiency with financial planning software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and time-management skills
