Construction Worker

Our growing company is looking for a hard-working and skilled construction worker to help bring our construction plans to life! Under our construction manager's direction, you will work alongside a team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen, and apply your knowledge of construction methods, tools, and equipment to keep the project on track. You must have previous job-site experience, an OSHA 10 card, and have a great work ethic and physical stamina. If this sounds like you, apply now!Responsibilities:Assist sub-contractors, tradesmen, and craft workers like roofers, plasterers, carpenters, painters, and electricians as neededBuild temporary structures such as signs, cones, barricades, ramps, and other devices to control traffic around the construction site and tear down old structuresRemove debris and hazardous materials to keep the job site safe and clean to meet safety regulations and OSHA requirementsTransfer, carry, and unload tools and building materials such as sheetrock, lumber, tile, saws, grout, etc.Follow all directions of the construction manager, and work with other team members to complete construction projects accuratelyExecute construction tasks with precision, ensuring each project meets our high standards of quality and safetyCollaborate with the construction manager and team to interpret and implement detailed construction plansOperate and maintain construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficientlyAssist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, maintaining a tidy and organized work environmentCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completionIdentify and report any potential issues or hazards on site, contributing to a safe working environment for allAdapt to various tasks and challenges, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills as neededQualifications:Strong depth perception, good eye-hand coordination, and mechanical skills are helpfulPossess a valid drivers licenseExperience working on a construction site, understanding of blueprints and construction plans, and knowledge of construction tools, methods, and equipment is requiredAbility to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme temperatures and rainPhysical stamina and physical strength are neededAbout Company:Coastal View Construction, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional customer experience by adhering to our guiding principles.
