CNC OperatorFounded in 2015 to develop the world's first industrially scalable laser metal additive manufacturing solution, VulcanForms is reshaping how the world manufactures critical products. VulcanForms Inc. operates in an environmentally controlled, state-of-the-art facility committed to producing quality parts for our clients. We manufacture products for several industries, including aerospace, military and defense, satellite, and medical devices.This shift covers Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from 6:00am - 6:00pm.Key ResponsibilitiesAbility to operate a CNC lathe (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading of manufacturing drawings, and first article inspection) on FANUC, DMG MORI, Okuma, and controls.Ability to operate a CNC 3 or 4 Mill (including work holding, kitting of tools, touching off of tools/establishing offsets, reading manufacturing drawings, and first article) on Fanuc, DMG MORI, and OkumaExperience with utilizing a pre-setter offline for tool offsets is a plus.Experience with quick-change tooling is a plus.Operate and set up on the machines within the department.In addition to running machines, the Machinist will periodically inspect parts during production to monitor for consistent dimensional and visual quality.Responsible for continuously monitoring equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process.Follow the instructions on the Process sheet, Drawings, and/or Programs.Support training of more junior team members on all aspects of machining.Helps others identify issues and troubleshoot their work.Interface/communicate with Quality, Engineering, and other team members.Maintains the work area and equipment clean and orderly and follows prescribed safety + years of experience with 3 and 4 CNC Milling Centers, 2-axis and multi axis, live tooling lathes, experience with the controls listed in the Key Responsibilities section above.Ability to read Blueprints and have a good understanding of GD&TAbility to work in a team environmentAdhere to and enforce the company's health & safety policies and proceduresAdhere to and enforce the company's quality policies and proceduresGood hand/eye coordinationPreferredGraduate of Advanced Machine Technology Course.Knowledge of 5S/6S.VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. The hourly pay range for this position varies by level; final level and compensation will be determined based on a candidate's experience. This role shall also include a pay differential of 15% on any applicable shift not included in the standard base-pay shifts.The hourly pay range for this position is:Level II $24–$33/hourLevel III $28-$38/hour
