Information Technology Manager

⚡ Role: IT Manager🌎 Location: New Jersey💼 Environment: Hedge Fund💰 Compensation: 180-250k + 100% Bonus (Tied to Fund Performance)A dynamic and innovative energy trading hedge fund in is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead its technology operations across trading, infrastructure, and end-user support.This is a hands-on leadership role at the center of a fast-moving trading environment, responsible for ensuring that all business-critical systems, trading platforms, and office technologies operate with maximum reliability, speed, and security.You will partner closely with traders, analysts, and senior leadership to support time-sensitive operations while also driving improvements in IT service delivery, infrastructure stability, and cybersecurity posture.Key Responsibilities• Lead IT support for trading floor systems, market data, and critical business applications • Own escalation handling for trading and time-sensitive technical issues • Oversee office IT infrastructure, end-user systems, networks, and collaboration tools • Ensure reliable performance of conference rooms, communications, and office technology • Manage onboarding/offboarding, access control, and core systems administration • Maintain cybersecurity controls including MFA, VPN, endpoint protection, and access security • Coordinate vendors (MSPs, ISPs, software/hardware providers) and service delivery • Improve IT processes, documentation, and incident response procedures • Communicate effectively with traders and senior leadership on incidents and priorities • Support business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery readinessCandidate Profile• 5+ years IT experience in trading, hedge funds, financial services, or energy markets • Strong support experience with trading systems, market data, and Excel-based environments • Solid infrastructure knowledge (networks, Windows environments, end-user systems) • Experience managing vendors and external IT support partners • Familiarity with IT security practices (MFA, VPNs, endpoint protection, IAM) • Strong prioritization skills in high-pressure, real-time environments • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management ability • Calm, service-oriented, and ownership-driven mindset📧 Sounds like you?
