This position offers a blend of hands-on execution and team leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys driving accuracy, improving processes, and overseeing high-volume workflows. What You'll Be DoingLead the day-to-day accounts payable function across multiple entities Review invoice activity, AP aging, and payment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness Oversee weekly payment cycles and manage cash disbursement activities Compile and present payment reports and cash needs analysis Resolve discrepancies, vendor issues, and coding inconsistencies Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Partner with the accounting team during month-end close Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation Guide and develop AP staff while improving workflow efficiency Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance systems Healthcare or Behavioral Health exp is a PLUSWhat You Bring7+ years of experience in accounting or accounts payable Prior experience leading or supervising AP functions Solid understanding of how AP impacts the general ledger Background in multi-entity or multi-location environments Strong Excel and systems skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle large volumes of transactions in a fast-moving environment
