Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior UI Developer with a strong background in developing user interfaces on web applications and platforms like Salesforce. This role is critical in developing, optimizing, and maintaining our front-end components, ensuring seamless, engaging, and user-friendly experiences across all devices and browsers. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Business Analyst, backend developers, and designers to deliver high-quality, responsive interfaces that align with project goals and user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Analysts, designers, and backend developers to develop and maintain front-end components, ensuring they meet company standards, project goals, and user requirements.
Utilize JavaScript (including frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js), HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies to create responsive, interactive, and high-performance web pages.
Implement user flows and UX principles to deliver intuitive and user-centered interfaces.
Develop, test, and maintain reusable UI components that are consistent with brand guidelines and design systems.
Work with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
Utilize DevOps practices to automate testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes for the front end.
Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies to contribute to the development of new features and products, providing feedback and iteration.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and collaborate with the backend team to address any related challenges.
Use version control systems like Git (or SVN) to manage code changes and maintain accurate documentation.
Ensure that front-end code is scalable, maintainable, and follows industry best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and work towards improving the overall quality of the codebase.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in JavaScript and related frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end development practices.
Experience with Salesforce platform development (e.g., Lightning Web Components, Visualforce) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) for automating testing and deployment processes.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices for creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces.
Experience with AJAX for creating dynamic, interactive web pages.
Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or SVN.
Experience with database management systems and integrating front-end applications with backend APIs.
Familiarity with content management systems like Drupal is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Docker, MySQL, PostgreSQL for environment setup and database management.
Familiarity with application development frameworks like Spring and Ansible.
Experience working on complex UI projects within a Salesforce ecosystem.
Strong understanding of front-end development best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
