Accounts Receivable Coordinator – Skilled Nursing / Long-Term CareWeymouth, MA Area$65K–$90K + strong benefitsFull-time | OnsiteA well-established skilled nursing and long-term care organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support billing, collections, reimbursement, and resident account management within a fast-paced SNF environment. This role will work closely with Business Office leadership, residents/families, clinical teams, and third-party payers to ensure timely reimbursement and strong revenue cycle performance.This organization operates multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities across Massachusetts and offers long-term stability, strong leadership, and growth opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage skilled nursing facility (SNF) billing and collections for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, hospice, SCO, and private pay accountsHandle Medicare Part A, Medicaid pending, and long-term care reimbursement follow-upMonitor aging reports and aggressively follow up on outstanding balances and denied claimsProcess cash posting, adjustments, month-end reconciliation, and A/R reportingWork directly with residents, families, and responsible parties regarding financial obligations, admissions balances, and payment arrangementsCoordinate with admissions, MDS, nursing, and business office teams to ensure accurate census and payer informationAssist with PDPM-related reimbursement processes and insurance verificationMaintain accurate resident trust accounts and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsResearch and resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and reimbursement issuesSupport audits and maintain documentation for Medicare/Medicaid complianceUtilize PointClickCare (PCC) and other healthcare billing systems to manage resident accounts and reportingQualificationsPrior Accounts Receivable, billing, or Business Office experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), nursing home, rehabilitation center, or long-term care environment requiredStrong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Pending, PDPM, SCO, managed care, and private pay billingExperience with PointClickCare (PCC) strongly preferredKnowledge of long-term care collections, reimbursement, and aging follow-upAbility to manage high-volume resident accounts in a fast-paced healthcare settingStrong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with residents, families, and insurance providersProficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare billing systemsAdditional InformationMultiple openings available across several Massachusetts skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilitiesStable organization with strong tenure and internal growth opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageBenefits401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offWork Location: In person
