DescriptionInterpret Cable Maps & Labels: Accurately read and understand cable maps, labeling systems, and documentation to ensure proper routing and installation.Rack & Stack Equipment: Install, secure, and organize network and server equipment within racks and cabinets according to industry and site standards.Fiber Installation: Pull, route, and stage fiber trunks (including 144-count and 288-count bundles), as well as install and manage patch cords for connectivity.Cable Dressing & Pathway Management: Properly dress and secure cabling to match the designated pathway type, such as basket tray or fiber runner systems, ensuring clean, organized, and standards-compliant installations.SkillsCabling, Cable installation, Structured cabling, Cable tech, Telecommunication, Low voltage, Rack and stack, Cable puller, Install, Cat5, InstallationTop Skills DetailsCabling,Cable installation,Structured cabling,Cable tech,Telecommunication,Low voltage,Rack and stack,Cable puller,Install,Cat5,InstallationAdditional Skills & Qualifications6+ months of experience in data center or commercial cablingExperience with structured cabling and fiber installation.Ability to follow technical documentation and labeling standards.Familiarity with data center or telecommunications environments is a plus.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chantilly, VA.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
