Food Runner/Busser

*Job Summary* As a Food Runner/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient food delivery and overall customer satisfaction within the restaurant setting. *Duties* - Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables promptly and accurately - Making sure guests have what they need to enjoy their meal, i.e. forks, napkins, ketchup, etc. - Pre-bussing tables as the guest finish their plates and glasses without being overly intrusive - Washing glass-ware for the bar and returing glasses to the bar for next use - Washing plates, flateware, kitchen dishes and more and returning to proper location - Helping clean kitchen at the end of the shift, floors, skins and trash removal - Assisting in food preparation tasks as needed - Operating POS systems, Square for Restaurnts, to process orders and payments - Communicating effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow - Adhering to food safety standards and protocols at all times - Supporting banquet or catering events with food service as required *Experience* - Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred - Familiarity with culinary terms and kitchen operations is a plus - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers - Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment as part of a dynamic restaurant team Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.27 - $15.37 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Physical Setting: Fast casual restaurant Shift: 4 hour shift Night shift Application Question(s): What do you like about working in the hospitality business?
