Founded in 2008, our client is a leading American broadcasting corporation headquartered in New York City and provides satellite radio and online radio services operating in the United States.We are seeking an Broadcast Scheduler/Traffic Coordinator on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote and will be 30 hours/week. The Operations Scheduler plays a crucial role in entering and maintaining the framework of all channels across the company's platforms. This includes managing channel information, programs, schedules, and other relevant data to ensure smooth broadcasting operations.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily data entry and channel log management using broadcast scheduling systems such as BroadView and Zetta Coordinate with programming, advertising sales, finance, and other departments to gather information and ensure accurate schedulingCreate and maintain channel information, program formats, quarterly and weekly schedules, episodic information, and timing sheet detailsCollaborate with vendors to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve scheduling and data management issuesRecreate reported issues as needed and support resolution effortsMaintain accurate records and scheduling information within internal systemsSupport additional operational and administrative tasks as assignedSkills And QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a television or radio broadcasting environmentBachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experienceKnowledge of traffic systems and traffic operationsUnderstanding of Sarbanes-Oxley standards and compliance practicesAbility to follow detailed instructions and complete tasks independentlyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environmentStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalismStrong initiative and ability to manage projects through completionStrong spelling, grammar, proofreading, and editing skillsExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessPreferred QualificationsExperience working with broadcast scheduling systems such as BroadView and ZettaExperience supporting media, broadcasting, or entertainment operationsWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
