Welder/Fitter

The MIG Welder / Fitter will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding stainless steel components to precise specifications. Candidates should be comfortable working with various material thicknesses and producing clean, high-quality welds. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on stainless steel materialsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbolsFit and assemble parts prior to weldingEnsure all welds meet quality and structural standardsGrind, polish, and finish welds as neededInspect completed work for accuracy and defectsMaintain tools and welding equipmentFollow all workplace safety guidelines QualificationsMinimum 6 months of MIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)Fitting and fabrication skillsAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsFamiliarity with welding safety standards and proceduresExperience using measuring and layout toolsAtention to detail and quality Preferred QualificationsAWS welding certifications or similar credentialsBackground in manufacturing or fabrication shops Work EnvironmentIndustrial/shop settingFast-paced production environmentOvertime may be available Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work in varying shop conditionsMust be at least 18 years old We are an equal opportunity employer.
