In addition to greeting and assisting our customers, from the moment products arrive at our facility to the final billing to our customers, you&#39;ll be the wizard behind the curtain making sure everything runs smoothly. Your strong computer, organizational and written communication skills along with a high attention to detail are essential to providing customer service and sales support. Additionally, from utilizing inventory management systems for verification and data entry to efficiently picking, packing, and shipping products, attention to detail is key. If you&#39;re ready to bring your energetic attitude and passion for customer service and sales, as well as organizational efficiency to our team, we&#39;d love to hear from you!Knowledge and skills required for the position are:High School Diploma or Equivalent.Ability to read and understand English.Ability to function in a fast-paced customer driven environment.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Counter Sales/Parts Associate will possess strong computer, organizational and written communication skills. Sales and customer service skills along with a high attention to detail are essential both in-person and via phone. No college degree required, will train the right person.Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs.Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available with which their needs can be addressedEducate new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote QC Supply productsProperly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systemsAssist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle countsMaintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stockWork with the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted forAlways keep parts counter and showroom neat and cleanDemonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assignedQualifications and Education RequirementsIdeal candidate will have knowledge in the agriculture industry, as well as parts and equipment used, and strives to continually upgrade industry, parts and equipment knowledgePrevious customer service experience is strongly preferredAbility to identify and resolve problems in a timely mannerResponds promptly to customer needsAbility to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectivelyFamiliar with Microsoft Office productsProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely mannerSeeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from othersCustomer Service - Responds promptly to customer needsOral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situationsTeamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilitiesEthics - Treats people with respect; Upholds organizational valuesOrganizational Support - Follows policies and proceduresSafety and Security - Observes safety and security proceduresAdaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environmentAbility to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtimePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
