Warehouse Manager

SUMMARYSeeking an experienced Warehouse / Raw Materials Manager to oversee inventory operations, material flow, receiving, storage, and distribution activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This leadership role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, improving warehouse efficiency, and promoting a strong culture of safety and operational excellence. RESPONSIBILITIESLead and supervise warehouse, receiving, and material handling teams, including scheduling, coaching, training, and performance management. Develop and improve warehouse workflows to ensure timely movement, staging, and availability of raw materials for production. Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes. Ensure all material transactions are recorded correctly within warehouse or ERP inventory systems. Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to support production timelines and minimize material shortages or waste. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve process reliability. Manage incoming shipments by verifying materials, inspecting for damages, and confirming purchase order accuracy. Optimize warehouse organization and storage practices to improve accessibility and maximize space utilization. Oversee maintenance, safety compliance, and certification requirements for forklifts and other material handling equipment. Promote and enforce warehouse safety procedures, including proper material storage and equipment operation standards. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing warehouse or material handling teams. Strong understanding of inventory control practices, warehouse management systems, and ERP/MRP platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze inventory and operational data. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment; prior training or certification experience is highly valued. Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience collaborating across operations, production, and purchasing teams. Demonstrated ability to improve processes, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
