Facilitate in-person and virtual job readiness and other program-related workshops for customers, clients, and participants. Work with project leadership to evaluate the success of job readiness and other program-related workshops. Participate in workshop content development, recommend workshop content improvements, and coordinate workshops with program and community partners. Deliver and participate in both on and off-site program orientations. Manage workshop sign-up and sign-in process. Track workshop attendance. Create monthly workshop calendar.Facilitates in-person and virtual job readiness and other program-related workshops for customers, clients, and participants to include orientationManages workshop sign-up and sign-in process and tracks attendanceRecommend workshop content, including improvements and participates in workshop content developmentAssesses participant competencies, work history, educational attainment, skills and abilities; identifies challenges to finding employment and prompts them to find solutionsMaintains information about area resources and employersFacilitates customer access to training, education, and to employment services, as well as job-specific information; provide case management to customers at the appropriate levelProvides information to participants on available training and/or jobs that will lead to advancementAdditional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Related Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited College or University preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required. Previous experience with workforce development, vocational skills training programs, adult basic education, or working closely with adult learners is preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to empathize with and provide motivational support to customers, clients, and participants. Must be able to effectively work with a variety of program and community stakeholders. Highly organized with keen attention to detail. Adept at working independently and with diverse teams. Ability to adapt to change and manage competing demands; Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.Other: Must have appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Must successfully pass a background screening process, including, but not limited to, state, local, and funder criminal background check requirements. Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.Physical Demands: The environment is an open office/classroom type facility that is reasonably clean and comfortable. The incumbent is in a non-confined setting in which he/she is free to move about.
