Manufacturing Engineer
Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerOffice Worksite: 127 Industrial Drive, Richland, MS 39218Duration: 6 monthsJob Description:Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.Prepare specifications and related documents in accordance with requirements, established formats and general instructions.Review and analyze a variety of engineering data, documents and reports. Consult other engineering groups to ensure that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application and recommend revisions as appropriate. Plan, conduct, or coordinate relatively straight-forward engineering analyses and tests, and prepare related reports and summaries, for review.Participate in the investigation of technical problems and the establishment of procedures and corrective actions to avoid recurrences. Plan, layout, and coordinate new / existing equipment installation.Minimum Requirements:Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in engineering and 5 years of experience.Belt certification (black belt preferred)2 years of SAP experience in the following areasPurchase requisition / purchase order creationMaterial review to see inventory levels for warehouse layout planning5 years of Autocad experience in the following areas:Equipment LayoutWarehouse LayoutProduction / material flowMicrosoft Office experience1 year of experience in CNC operation / programmingBasic machine programmingFunctional knowledge in industrial electronics / electrical safetyThis position is full-time, on-site, supporting the 2 Instrument Transformer production locations (101 Kuhlman Drive, Crystal Springs, MS 39059 and 127 Industrial Drive, Richland, MS 39218) with the Richland site serving as the primary worksite.
