Job DescriptionAs a Manager Data Engineering, you will lead and manage Python-based engineering teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and contribute to the strategic direction of technology initiatives.QualificationsAdvanced Python (10+ years): Deep expertise in the CPython runtime, memory management, and high-performance libraries like Polars, Dask, or NumPy for processing multi-gigabyte flat files.Distributed Systems & Messaging: Mastery of Apache Kafka (partitioning strategies, consumer group rebalancing, and exactly-once semantics) and legacy IBM MQ (Queue Managers, Channels, and XA Transactions).Data Integrity & Normalization: Experience with financial data types and the pitfalls of floating-point arithmetic.
