This role is ideal for someone with a solid work history, a positive, team-focused attitude, and hands-on experience with laser cutting and Mastercam programming who takes pride in producing precise, high-quality parts while upholding strict safety and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor laser cutting machines to produce parts according to specificationsProgram and edit jobs using Mastercam softwareRead and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsPerform routine quality inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with specificationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company guidelinesRequirements- High school diploma or equivalent- Vocational training or relevant on-the-job experience preferred- Experience operating laser cutting machines- Proficiency in Mastercam programming- Ability to read and interpret prints and technical drawings- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality- Basic math skills- Ability to follow established work practices, safety guidelines, and regulations- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation- Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts)IND060 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
