Structural Analysis Engineer 5 (contract)
This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role. Regular and predictable attendance is required
BCA Structures organization is looking for structures analysis engineers with experience in aircraft structure analysis specializing in Landing Gear, Doors, or Windows (Flight Deck and/or Passenger) - Location could be Everett or Renton, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil (including approved Structural), Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
ABET Accredited University required
16+ years related work experience in structures analysis
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Has previous work experience working on Boeing Structures commodities
Ability to excel in a highly dynamic environment, team-oriented atmosphere
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, nuanced results in a clear, concise manner that is easily understood by a wide audience
Have initiative and ability to recognize needs/SOW without explicit guidance
Be able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of problems
Experience working with finite element models/simulations using NASTRAN/PATRAN, ABAQUS, Hypermesh.
Experience with 3D modeling such as CATIA/ENOVIA for model interrogation and verification.
Experience with Boeing specific applications such IAS, CSW, SA and others.
Pay Rate Range
108 - 113 USD hourly
