Job TitleCustomer Service RepresentativeJob DescriptionCustomer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquiries including freight pickup requests, rate quotes or freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments or special requests.May be asked to assist with:PayrollData entryFreight reportsDriver collect reportsBilling and fillingResponsibilitiesAssist the Service Center ManagerTake and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account ManagersProvide assistance to DriversPrepare bills of lading and delivery receiptsMaintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companiesQualificationsSkillful in Microsoft Office ProgramsExcellent keyboarding skillsHas worked in a fast paced environment and has excellent attention to detailExperience with handling a high volume of phone callsExceptional communication and customer service skillsLegally eligible to work in the United StatesMust be at least 18 years of ageFluent in EnglishPhysical DemandsThis position requires the ability to perform administrative and clerical tasks in an office and Service Center environment.
