Customer Service Representative (Part-Time)

Customer Service RepresentativeCustomer Service Representatives are responsible for assisting Dayton Freight customers with a variety of inquiries including freight pickup requests, rate quotes or freight charges, hot shipments, shipment tracing and appointments or special requests.Responsibilities include:Assist the Service Center ManagerTake and deliver messages for the Service Center Manager and Account ManagersProvide assistance to DriversPrepare bills of lading and delivery receiptsMaintain excellent communication with external and internal customers as well as interline companiesMay also assist with:PayrollData entryFreight reportsDriver collect reportsBilling and fillingQualifications include:Skillful in Microsoft Office ProgramsExcellent keyboarding skillsExperience in a fast paced environment with excellent attention to detailExperience with handling a high volume of phone callsExceptional communication and customer service skillsLegally eligible to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of ageFluent in EnglishBenefits include:Stable and growing organizationCompetitive weekly payQuick advancementCustomized training programProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentModern facilities401(k) plan, Company MatchStarting Pay: $18.00/hourPay does vary depending on relevant industry experience.
