Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Director, Financial Planning & AnalysisSAUSALITO, CASerena & Lily is seeking a Director of FP&A to join our finance team. The role will focus on leading the analytics, forecasting, and decision making related to revenue through gross margin, as well as balance sheet and cash flow forecasting. This position reports to our VP Finance, and partners crossfunctionally. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is naturally curious and data driven.Responsibilities:Lead analysis and develop financial models to drive business decisions Own budgeting and forecasting of key financial metricsMaintain and expand reporting to measure and track KPIs and business driversPrepare monthly and quarterly financial presentations for internal leadership team, Board of Directors and external customers (Bank, Auditors, and Investors)Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectivesPartner closely with the Accounting team to support the monthly close process and ensure accurate financial reportingIdentify areas for improvement in current FP&A processesQualifications10+ years of FP&A experience in a retail and ecommerce businessExpertise in financial modeling and data analysisAdvanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint knowledgeSuperior analytical skills with strong attention to detailStrong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing finance teamsExperience with Netsuite or similar ERP systemAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment High level of ethics, integrity, discretion and confidentialityCompensation:$160-200k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills. Employees can enroll in our company's 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
