Senior Product Manager, Originations Core

The RoleSoFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Originations Core platform within the Borrow business unit. In this role, you will define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for the systems and experiences that power how members discover, apply for, and manage loans across SoFi. You will operate at the center of our lending ecosystem, owning both foundational platform capabilities and critical member-facing experiences.What You'll DoDefine and drive the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for Originations Core, spanning platform capabilities and member-facing experiencesOwn and evolve the Borrow experience across web and mobile, including application entry points, flows, and supporting UI systemsLead the development of reusable UI components and shared capabilities that enable consistency and velocity across multiple product teamsDrive strategy and execution for core originations infrastructure, including application data models and credit decisioning systemsAct as the central product partner for cross-functional domains such as servicing, collections, and settlements, ensuring seamless end-to-end member journeysPartner with multiple PMs and engineering teams to align roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive cohesive product outcomes across the Borrow ecosystemIdentify and lead high-impact technical initiatives, building alignment and buy-in across teams to execute against a broader platform roadmapDefine success metrics and use data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and guide prioritizationBalance short-term delivery with long-term platform investments, making thoughtful trade-offs to support scalability, reliability, and business growthCommunicate product strategy, progress, and insights effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, lending, or platform-focused rolesProven track record of owning complex product areas or platforms and delivering measurable business impactExperience defining product strategy and driving execution across multiple teams or squadsStrong systems thinking, with the ability to connect user experiences, platform capabilities, and business outcomesExperience working on technically complex systems, with the ability to partner deeply with engineering on architecture and trade-offsData-driven mindset with experience defining metrics, running experiments, and using insights to inform decisionsExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing across teams and presenting to senior leadershipAbility to operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy in ambiguous, fast-paced environmentsNice to HaveExperience with lending or financial services products, particularly originations or underwriting flowsFamiliarity with credit decisioning systems or risk modelsExperience building platform capabilities or shared infrastructure used across multiple teamsExperience optimizing application funnels, conversion, and user flowsBackground working with servicing, collections, or post-origination systemsExperience driving large-scale technical initiatives requiring cross-team alignmentCompensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
