TestPros is dedicated to making lives better, safer and more secure.Focus: Age-Appropriate Design Code (Child Data Privacy)Start: April 2026Type: Part-time consultingOverview We are seeking a Privacy Compliance Consultant to support an independent assessment of digital products against new state privacy regulations focused on children's data (similar to COPPA and Age-Appropriate Design Code laws).This role will evaluate how websites, apps, or platforms collect, use, and protect user data , with a focus on minors/children .Key Responsibilities Conduct independent privacy assessments of digital systems (web/mobile)Review how user data is:CollectedUsedStoredSharedPerform privacy reviews (PIA/DPIA) and document findingsAnalyze data flows and data handling practicesEvaluate:Consent mechanismsAge verification / age gatingData minimization practicesIdentify privacy risks and compliance gapsProvide clear audit-style reports with recommendationsRequired Skills / Experience Experience with privacy regulations , especially:COPPA (children's privacy)FTC privacy rulesState privacy laws (CPRA or similar)Hands-on experience conducting:Privacy assessments / auditsPIA / DPIAStrong understanding of:Data flows & data lifecycleUser data handling in web/mobile applicationsExperience reviewing:Consumer-facing systems (apps, websites)Consent, transparency, and privacy controlsAbility to translate regulations into practical findings and recommendationsNice to Have Experience with Age-Appropriate Design Code (CA or other states)Background in GRC, cybersecurity, or product complianceCertifications such as:CIPP, CIPM, CISM, or similarWork Setup Part-time (consulting basis)1099 or Corp-to-CorpFlexible hoursProject-based (initial assessment engagement)TestPros, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.EEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
