Electronics Assembly Technician/Solderer

Responsibilities
Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole techniques.
Perform precise soldering of components, ensuring compliance with current standards for electronic assemblies.
Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble electrical systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other machining equipment to prepare and secure components during assembly.
Conduct electrical testing using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to verify circuit integrity and functionality.
Follow manufacturing procedures and quality control protocols to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices in electronics manufacturing.
Qualifications
Proven experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and electrical wiring within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of schematic diagrams, mechanical knowledge, and assembly techniques.
Familiarity with standards for electronic assemblies and surface mount technology (SMT).
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and ohmmeters accurately.
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus but not required.
Electrical experience with schematics interpretation and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
