Family Physician
Job Summary:Provides comprehensive primary care services across all age groups, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions in a community health setting.Key Responsibilities:Deliver full-scope primary care including preventive services, immunizations, women’s health, prenatal and postnatal care, STD screenings, and minor proceduresConduct patient assessments, physical exams, and review medical historiesOrder, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and imagingPrescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient needsProvide patient education on health maintenance, nutrition, and disease preventionMaintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists when necessarySupervise mid-level providers and support clinical staff as neededParticipate in clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and community health activitiesManage urgent and emergency situations when requiredQualifications:Medical Degree (MD or DO)Completion of Family Medicine residency trainingBoard Certified/Board Eligible in Family MedicineActive medical license and DEA registrationExperience in public health or community healthcare preferredStrong clinical, communication, and documentation skillsProficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
