Maintenance Technician

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician in the food & beverage industry in Zumbrota, Minnesota!Salary: $32-38/hrShift: Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm with a weekend rotation. When working Saturday or Sunday, you receive two different weekdays off.Location: Zumbrota, MNJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while following all safety proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process control system issues to minimize downtimeSupport the installation and setup of new equipmentTrain and assist operators with equipment use and troubleshootingDocument maintenance work and repairs accuratelyFollow all safety policies, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulationsMaintain compliance with state and federal health and safety standardsPerform welding, fabrication, and minor projects (including non-sanitary piping, drain lines, and vacuum lines)Participate in required training programs, including GMP, HACCP, and SQFFoster teamwork and uphold company values of safety, quality, and integrityPerform other duties as assignedEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredTwo (2) years of formal mechanical/electrical education certification or equivalent maintenance work experience in manufacturing (food industry experience preferred)Must have or obtain 2nd Class B Boiler License within 12 months of hireSAP experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong electrical troubleshooting skills (e.g., motor replacements, motor control diagnostics)Knowledge of pneumatics, solenoid valves, and air cylindersProficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practicesAbility to plan and execute minor projects, including non-sanitary piping and vacuum linesExperience with pump rebuilds, boiler maintenance, HVAC, VFDs, and sanitary valve repairsPreventative maintenance expertise, including identifying and addressing equipment issuesWelding skills (TIG/stick) for repair and fabricationAbility to read schematics and diagnose process control system issues
