You'll be supported by mentors, receive real-time feedback, and collaborate with coworkers, leadership, and client business owners.Depending on your practice group, your responsibilities may include:Assisting with audits and reviewsUnderstanding the impact of business transactions on the financial statements and cultivating the "business advisor" perspectivePreparation of basic financial statements and schedules for clientsAssistance on Medicaid/Medicare cost reports analysis for health care facilitiesAnalysis related to mergers, acquisitions, litigation, ESOPs, and estate and succession planningWhat We're Looking For:Strong academic performance (Minimum GPA 3.2)Accounting, Finance or related major on track to meet the requirements for CPA examStrong technical skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, PPT, Outlook and ExcelDemonstrated leadership and problem-solving skillsSuccess in working independently and as part of a teamAvailable to work overtime hours including evening/weekends and travel as necessaryExhibit strong communication skills - willingness to ask questions to gain knowledge of complex subjectsAuthorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basisWhy Blue & Co., LLC:At Blue & Co., interns are a vital part of our future.
