This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience who is ready to take on broader accounting leadership responsibilities.Why This Opportunity?High-visibility accounting leadership role with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to help shape the accounting department and processes Cross-functional exposure with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service Opportunity to grow into a broader Controller-level role depending on experience and performance Collaborative environment where you can wear multiple hats and make a meaningful impact Stable, growing manufacturing company with strong long-term opportunity Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager ResponsibilitiesOversee full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Manage and develop accounting staff across AP, AR, cost accounting, and general accounting Lead manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis Review material, labor, overhead, purchase price, scrap, and production variances Support external audits and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Oversee inventory reconciliations, E&O reserves, and working capital metrics Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service Support budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure planning, and process improvement initiatives Serve as a key business partner to leadership and help improve financial and operational performance Assistant Controller / Accounting Manager QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Progressive accounting experience with strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience Full-cycle accounting experience, including month-end close and reconciliations Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff Strong standard costing, inventory accounting, and variance analysis knowledge Experience with external audits, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Strong Excel and financial modeling skills ERP experience required; manufacturing ERP experience is a plus Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills Collaborative, adaptable leader who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking ownership #INAUG2026
