Coffee Shop Shift Lead / Food Prep Assistant

Overview We are seeking a reliable Shift Lead to support daily operations at our coffee shop. This is a hands-on role focused on drink preparation, light food prep, and supervising the team during the owner’s absence. The owner will handle opening and closing of the shop. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts Prepare coffee, specialty drinks, and light food Assist with food prep and kitchen tasks Support and guide team members during shifts Maintain cleanliness and organization Provide friendly customer service Communicate with owner if issues arise Requirements Some coffee shop or food service experience preferred Leadership or shift-lead experience is a plus Reliable and responsible Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Food Handler Certificate (or willing to obtain) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $10.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training Work Location: In person
