Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description Perform a wide variety of electronic and electromechanical subassembly and assembly operations to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity such as printed circuit boards, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses and other electronic assembliesFollowing established methods and procedures builds flexible cable assemblies; makes bulk cables, cuts and strips wires, crimps, cleaning operations, marking operationsWork from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of componentsUtilize a variety of small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers crimpers, wenches, screwdrivers, and pliersMay operate semiautomatic assembly equipment as well as basic electronic test equipmentHand soldering and de-soldering of thru-hole, and SMT componentsHandle all electronic components within the guidelines of ESD
