We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant for our Outsourced Accounting team, focusing on special projects. In this essential role, you will support the financial operations and accounting processes for clients across various sectors. You will be responsible for crafting and maintaining precise financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients will be key to ensuring accurate financial reporting and aiding critical business decisions. Please note that this is a hybrid position, requiring on-site presence at our local office or client locations as needed. Key Responsibilities:Support all stages of client engagements, from planning and execution to closeout, while meeting budget and contract requirements. Ensure project scope is satisfactorily met for clients and stakeholders, while achieving quality and compliance standards. Communicate effectively on various assignments, covering project status, budget, and deliverable progress. Stay updated on compliance regulations and ensure adherence to policies and laws. Conduct research to resolve technical accounting issues and develop necessary solutions. Provide on-site, virtual, or augmented services to clients as needed. Prepare reports highlighting issues, trends, and risks identified during project execution. Assist in other consulting projects as required. Proactively communicate any challenges related to assignments. Work towards relevant certification exams while maintaining necessary continuing professional education (CPE) credits. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant accounting or auditing experience, preferably within an outsourced accounting team. Preferred Qualifications:CPA certification or pursuing CPA designation. Aptitude for learning new concepts, workflows, and software applications. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Capacity to perform effectively under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, engaging professionally with diverse individuals. Positive attitude, proactive approach, and openness to feedback. Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to confidentiality. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
