Payment Queue SpecialistThe Payment Queue Specialist's main responsibility will handle inbound calls from customers to receive and process Credit Card and ACH payments. In addition to processing payments, the Payment Queue Specialist will work closely with the Collections Team to assist with day-to-day responsibilities, light account maintenance which includes assessing and analyzing financial statuses and releasing orders.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized customer service with high quality and professional standardsAnswer inbound calls and emails. Make outbound calls as appropriateProcess Credit Card and ACH PaymentsProvide assistance on Statement & Invoice InquiriesProvide assistance on financial status of accountsProvide assistance to other departments and Associates as neededUnderstanding of business to business accounts for ABB Optical Group and PEN Buying GroupResearch internal and external customer inquiries and provide problem resolution using the most up to date information, technology, and resourcesRoute calls to the appropriate resources when neededReport inconsistencies and inefficiencies, and escalate issues to managementMeet or exceed all key performance metrics set by the departmentKeep reference guides organized and currentComply with the Attendance Policy and adhere to established department goals and guidelinesMaintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactionsMaintain a clean and organized work areaParticipate in team discussions; provide feedback to improve the processesParticipate in ongoing department training and assessment programsQualificationsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentGeneral PC applicationsMS Office applicationsExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectivelyAbility to multi-task and utilize multiple systems while performing the jobAbility to resolve and deescalate customer conflict issues in a tactful and professional mannerAbility to adapt to change and unexpected demands of the businessDesired Qualifications:Bilingual (Spanish)Experience with business to business, credit and collectionsExperience with A/R systemsFor U.S. Candidates Compensation Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $17.00/hr. This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.
