## About the RoleThe Senior Software Engineer will join a cloud-native development team building scalable APIs and platforms that support mobile applications, customer portals, websites, internal systems, and third-party integrations.This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong backend focus, approximately 80% backend and 20% frontend, working in an AWS serverless environment. The engineer will contribute to API development, microservices, cloud-native applications, testing, deployments, CI/CD, technical leadership, and mentoring.## Key Responsibilities* Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices on AWS.* Develop cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and related AWS services.* Build and support platforms for mobile applications, customer portals, websites, internal systems, and third-party integrations.* Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.* Gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.* Provide project updates and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.* Support software testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and CI/CD processes.* Lead software development projects and contribute to project planning.* Mentor junior developers and support team development.* Perform code reviews to maintain code quality, security, and maintainability.* Contribute to broadband platform development and AI integration initiatives.* Support mobile application enhancements and website re-platforming.* Work on API modernization, customer portals, and vendor integrations.## Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.* 5+ years of software development experience; 6–8 years preferred.* Strong experience with AWS serverless architecture and microservices.* Experience with Python and/or Node.js.* Frontend development experience with React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL.* Experience with CI/CD pipelines.* Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.* Proven ability to lead projects and mentor team members.* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.* Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.## Preferred Qualifications* Recent U.S.-based project experience.* Experience with Jira.* Agile/Scrum experience.* Exposure to Salesforce.* Experience with broadband platforms, AI integrations, mobile applications, website re-platforming, or API modernization.## Skills & Competencies* AWS* AWS Lambda* DynamoDB* Amazon S3* AWS Serverless Architecture* Cloud-Native Application Development* APIs* Microservices* Python* Node.js* React* React Native* JavaScript* TypeScript* GraphQL* SQL* NoSQL* CI/CD* Software Testing* User Acceptance Testing (UAT)* Deployments* Code Reviews* Technical Leadership* Project Leadership* Mentoring* Jira* Agile/Scrum* Salesforce## Education & Experience**Required Education:*** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.**Required Experience:*** 5+ years of software development experience.* Strong AWS serverless and microservices experience.* Experience with Python and/or Node.js.* Experience with frontend technologies, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.**Preferred Experience:*** 6–8 years of software development experience.* Recent U.S.-based project experience.* Experience leading projects and mentoring developers.## Work Arrangement & Schedule* **Location:** Tempe, Arizona, US* **Work Arrangement:** Hybrid* **Onsite Requirement:** 4 days onsite per week* **Remote Work:** Not fully remote.## Compensation & Benefits* **Base Salary:** Up to USD $140,000* **Bonus:** Additional bonus available.* Additional benefits are not specified in the provided job description.## Compliance / Additional Information* Sponsorship is not available.* Candidates requiring current or future sponsorship, including H-1B, H-1B Transfer, F-1/OPT, CPT, STEM OPT, or H-4 EAD, cannot be considered.* Candidates must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.* Relevant application documents should be attached when applying.**Apply Now**
