This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and craftsmanship while contributing to a vital aspect of residential and commercial building maintenance.ResponsibilitiesMeasure, cut, and assemble seamless gutter systems using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise fit and function.Install gutters on various building types, ensuring proper alignment, slope, and secure fastening for optimal water flow.Use construction management techniques to coordinate with team members and ensure timely project completion.Conduct site inspections to verify structural integrity and adherence to safety standards throughout the installation process.Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing techniques to prevent leaks and enhance the longevity of gutter systems.Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling, maintaining safety protocols at all times.ExperiencePrior experience in construction site work or related trades such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry is highly preferred.Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to gutter installation projects.Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation in a construction environment.Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and project management practices is a plus.Skills in fabrication, fixture installation, restoration work, or other related trades such as glass or cabinet installation are advantageous.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards and attention to detail.
