Jr. SharePoint DeveloperThis position supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Deputy Commander, Total Force/Corporate Operations (SEA 10), located in the Washington Navy Yard, in SE Washington, DC. NAVSEA is the Department of Navy's (DON's) central activity for designing, engineering, integrating, building, and procuring U.S. Naval ships, shipboard weapons, and combat systems. NAVSEA's responsibilities also include the maintenance, repair, modernization, and conversion of in-service ships and their weapons and combat systems.The candidate will provide SharePoint development support to the SEA10/00 NAVSEA SharePoint site(s), and any succeeding collaboration site/tool sites and sub-sites serving as SharePoint Developers (SSD) providing cutting edge, timely design products within Navy guidelines from concept to delivery. Duties and responsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise SharePoint solutions, including site collections and collaborative portals, in accordance with agency standardsSolid understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, governance, and industry best practicesEngineer and sustain solutions within SharePoint Online in compliance with federal security and governance policiesDevelop and maintain workflows, automation processes, and reporting solutions to meet program requirementsDemonstrated ability to configure and manage SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and user permissionsLeverage Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) to deliver compliant and secure enhancementsTranslate functional requirements into technical designs, prototypes, and formal documentation artifactsSupport system deployment activities, configuration management, and platform administrationCreate user accounts and terminate accounts as needed. Provide backup support to other supports techs.
