You will manage daily operations, ensure high system performance, and support mission-driven objectives with technical expertise and strategic oversight.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToManage the daily operations of the systems engineering department, overseeing planning, infrastructure development, and team executionEnsure hardware and software systems are designed and installed in alignment with organizational needs and performance expectationsMonitor and evaluate systems performance, recommending and implementing improvements as neededProvide expert consultation on technical product development, policy guidance, and complex systems engineering challengesPlan and manage industrial engineering initiatives, including workflow analysis and spatial optimizationLead and mentor staff, ensuring project and departmental goals are achieved on time and within budget Resolve complex technical issues, drive innovation, and apply advanced engineering knowledge to strategic programsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering10+ years of relevant systems engineering or technical management experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractorFamiliarity with U.S. Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacityClearance RequirementsMust hold an active Top-Secret clearance.Physical RequirementsThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
