This position is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, providing information about activities and amenities, assisting with bookings or rentals, and ensuring all recreation areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.In addition to delivering excellent customer service, the Recreation Representative helps foster a fun, safe, and inclusive atmosphere by encouraging participation and addressing guest needs promptly. The role supports a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and assisting other team members as needed.This position also contributes to smooth daily operations by helping manage activity schedules, monitoring equipment or inventory, and ensuring spaces are properly set up and maintained. Ultimately, the Recreation Representative enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty by combining strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a passion for creating enjoyable experiences.RoleAs a Recreation Representative, one of your biggest roles will be as a Host for events such as Karaoke, Trivia Night, etc. That being said, this role is perfect for someone who can:Engage audiences of all agesSpeak clearly and confidently in front of crowdsAdapt quickly to accommodate the needs of guests and fellow staff membersBalance a high energy persona while maintaining a professional demeanorThis is a diverse role for an outgoing “people person” looking for FUN & ACTIVE part-time seasonal work. Main workdays would be Friday-Sunday, with the opportunity to become full-time as summer arrives.QualificationsBasic computer skills.Valid driver’s license required.Ability to work outdoors during a variety of weather conditions, as well as being comfortable in natural settings.Reach/squat/bend/carry/push/pull/lift to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Dependable and adheres to scheduled shifts.Problem-solving skills, excellent communication and customer service skills required with staff and guests.Strong attention to detail, speed and accuracy.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain guest and employee confidentiality.Strong work ethic, commitment and a positive attitude.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Math aptitude and cash handling ability. Explain activity and use of proper techniques and safety procedures; assist guests and answer questions.Ability to communicate information and directions clearly.Aptitude for working with adults, children, and a variety of personalities.Follow safety procedures/guidelines and implement age-appropriate activities.Report any broken, damaged or unsafe equipment or amenities to Team Lead and/or GM/AGMs.Reports to Activities Coordinator.Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
