We are seeking a Senior Superintendent with extensive experience in heavy civil and utility construction to lead field operations across multiple projects. This role is responsible for overall site management, coordination of crews and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications. ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all on-site construction activities for utility projects (drainage, sewer, and water)Oversee field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality standards are met Develop and maintain project schedules, including short-interval planning Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings; identify and resolve conflicts proactively Manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, and manpower Monitor project costs and production rates; implement corrective actions as needed Conduct daily site meetings, safety briefings, and progress reporting Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and field staff RequirementsMinimum 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on underground utilities (drainage, sewer, water)Proven experience as a Superintendent on large-scale infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of excavation, trenching, shoring systems, and utility installation methods Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews and complex project logistics In-depth understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and scheduling Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills OSHA certification required (or ability to obtain quickly)Proficiency with construction management software is a plus Experience working in urban or high-traffic environments Familiarity with DOT, municipal, or public works projects Background in deep excavation and dewatering operations Why Join UsWork on high-profile infrastructure projects Strong pipeline of work and long-term stability Opportunity for career growth into senior leadership roles Collaborative and safety-first culture Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k)Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
