Our client is a respected facilities services provider serving large multi-site clients across the United States.Reports To: Director of OperationsRole OverviewThe Regional Operations Manager is responsible for leading and executing operational strategy across multiple sites within an assigned region. This role serves as the primary point of contact for senior client leadership, oversees site-level performance, ensures compliance with operational policies, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to manage complex, multi-site environments.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipServe as the primary regional point of contact for senior and regional-level client leadershipInterface with site functional leaders on escalations and operational issues as neededOversee regional and site-level special projects and initiativesConduct regular regional audits and operational reviews with clients, as requiredFormulate, implement, and enforce operational policies aligned with organizational objectivesReview, refine, and standardize processes across all sites within the regionEnsure compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsImplement and maintain all operational protocols and standardsPeople ManagementLead and oversee site leadership teams, including site managers, supervisors, and support staffConduct scheduled and ad hoc performance reviews for subordinate staffCoach and support site leadership to achieve operational, safety, and performance goalsOversee recruitment, hiring, training, progressive discipline, and terminationsServe as Tier 2 escalation support for operational issues, incidents, and emergenciesFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementBusiness & Client ManagementManage client relationships and act as first point of escalation for site-level concernsConduct regular site audits and report findings to senior leadershipLead or support investigations related to safety, HR, or operational incidents, preparing formal reportsCollaborate with site leadership to ensure timely completion of approved special projectsCommunicate with external vendors regarding outsourced services or suppliesMonitor staffing levels, attendance, and workforce performance across all managed locationsProvide guidance and training on policies, best practices, and corrective actionsAdministrative & Financial ManagementManage departmental budgets including labor, supplies, and equipmentApprove payroll and reconcile labor costs against budgeted forecastsOversee billing accuracy, invoicing, and collections performanceMaintain and review employee and customer databases on a periodic basisPrepare annual operating budgets and business plans for assigned regionConduct periodic account and financial performance reviewsEnsure all purchases comply with established approval and procurement proceduresQualificationsEducationHigh school diploma requiredDegree or diploma in Operations, Business Management, or related field preferredExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of management experience in an operational environmentMulti-site operations experience preferredExperience in facilities services, distribution, logistics, or similar service-based operations is a plusSkills & CompetenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven leadership and sound decision-making abilityAbility to motivate, develop, and engage teams to drive performanceHighly organized with strong attention to detailDemonstrated integrity and strong work ethicProven ability to build and maintain effective working relationshipsAdaptable, flexible, and effective in fast-paced environmentsStrong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skillsCustomer-focused with a commitment to service excellenceCommitment to quality, safety, and complianceCollaborative team player who supports shared success
