The most important thing we build is TRUST Overview: The CAES Advanced Program Development (APD) line of business is seeking an experienced IT Site Support Specialist based on site in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service as you are the focal point for all information technology/security duties at our Colorado Springs site. Responsibilities: MS Exchange (on Prem) User Administration. Active Directory; add new systems to the network; unlock/reset user account password. Hardware; complete hardware installations, equipment moves; BIOS patches; hardware troubleshooting; desktop hardware support of end user systems. Network; patching drops, monitoring network availability; troubleshooting connectivity issues; make custom length patch cables. Troubleshoot phone connectivity issues, programming extension changes; deploying new services. ZOOM Gov, Teams, and VOIP phone system experience and/or ability to learn is a must. Software; install/deploy licensed software on workstations; ensure software asset management policies are followed. Security Patching; ensure user workstations are up to date with all security patches currently reported as necessary. Maintain printers, contact vendors for printer repairs; work with Systems admin staff to configure new print queues and new printers. Participate in daily team huddles to review aging and or unallocated tickets related to problems/issues/delays to limit user escalations and to improve user response/resolution time. Partner with Security to sanitize workstations which may have been exposed to classified material, abiding by the CAES IR Process. Make suggestions for improvements in IT-related processes. Work with Engineering and Operations to enhance cross-functional problem solving. Ability to report and document active team projects, project planning. Qualifications: Minimum: High School diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience end user support, including executive level support. Knowledge of PC Architecture, PC Deployment, PC backup experience. 5+ years network technical troubleshooting in Corporate wide area network (WAN) environment (Switch, to user ports). Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license. A US Person includes a US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, refugee or asylee. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field. Experience with the following Operating Systems: Windows10 Pro, Windows Server 2016 and 2019, macOS, Ubuntu (18, 20, and 22.04), CentOS 7, Rocky 8.8. Admin Experience with the following Microsoft tools and Admin Portals: On-premise Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft 365 & Azure, Office applications. Experience with Network Devices and Troubleshooting: 10G 200/300 Series Switches (Cisco), Cloud Key and Wireless Access Points (Unifi), Firewall and Routers (pfSense), VPN Client and Server (OpenVPN), PoE Security Cameras (Axis). Experience with IT Security Tools: Multifactor (Duo, Microsoft, Yubikey), Nessus Vulnerability Scanning and Remediation, Splunk SIEM Log Reviewing and Remediation, Ninja Remote Monitoring and Management. Experience with License Server Admin Duties: Renew Licenses, Upgrade Servers, Maintain License Managers. CMMC / NIST-171 Implementation Experience. Experience with VoIP devices (MXIE). Experience with Badging Servers and Systems (Millennium Ultra). Active Clearance and experience with ISSO and COMSEC duties. Experience with Engineering Tools: Altium Designer, CST, SolidWorks, Cameo etc. Analytical skills: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; ability to work with data reports. Time Management & organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to perform with a high degree of multi-tasking familiar with usage in general office equipment. Salary Range: $31.25 to $40.00 per hour.
