CCR is in the process of expanding its services and restructuring its HR department to better support our growing organization.
As part of this initiative, we are looking to enhance our team with the addition of a HR Generalist and HR Specialist.

Position Summary:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department and agency to achieve its goals and objectives. Carry out responsibilities in employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, business, or related field. 3 Years of Human Resources experience. Professional in Human Resources Certification preferred, but not required.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, H.R.I.S System and Job Boards.
Excellent computer skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
Able to exercise sound judgement, well organized, and able to plan while multitasking.
Must be willing to drive to meet with employees at multiple sites on all shifts.
Travel for training seminars.
Takes the initiative and is flexible and cooperative.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates and coordinates all aspects of the hiring process, including: advertise for new/vacant positions, screen applicants, conduct interviews, complete reference checks and criminal background checks, make job offers, schedule pre-employment physicals, drug screens, and TB tests, completes new hire paperwork/onboarding and forwards all wage and benefit information to the payroll office.
Ensures employee files are current and in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Understands and administers employee benefits (Including, but not limited to: health, dental, vision, COBRA, life insurance, 403(b) retirement planning, voluntary benefits, FMLA, workplace wellness strategies, and employee events).
Assists with the development and administration of policies, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the agency.
Assists with and helps maintain an in-house employee training system, workshops, educational sessions and helps address the agency’s training needs.
Creates employee related spreadsheets and reports. Gathers, compiles, and maintains data needed for reports.
Prepares documentation needed for new hires, changes in employment status, pay and benefits.
Managing sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations and organizational changes. Making sure all information is secure and protected.
Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the positive discipline system of the agency. Counsels’ managers on employment issues. Participates in investigations, employee coaching/counseling and/or termination sessions along with exit interviews.
Responds and processes claims of Unemployment Compensation. Understands the importance of action required for claims and appeals. Represents CCR at UC hearings as necessary.
Commits to high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct, state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and CCR’s policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of employee records and CCR’s information. Has a duty to report compliance concerns, significant legal risk questions, fraud, abuse, suspected or actual misconduct to the H.R. Director, C.O.O. or to the Corporate Compliance Officer.
Other duties as assigned to support the mission of the agency.
Daylight, Monday-Friday hours. Some flex schedule and or work from home hours upon successful 6 months probationary period.
Pay Rate:$53,000-$60,000
