Those participating in the direct-to-consumer life insurance market, who are motivated, self-starters, but don't have a natural market for success in the retail sector, could be very successful in this position.Desired Characteristics in an Ideal Candidate:Natural sense of urgencyHighly organized and self-disciplinedSelf-motivated and proactiveAccountable and results-drivenExcellent interpersonal skillsCollaborative team playerStrong affinity for building relationshipsThe Role:Our mission revolves around fostering partnerships with insurance and financial advisors to support their clients' wealth protection and wealth transfer planning needs. This role focuses on initiating and facilitating relationships with financial planners, career agents, property casualty agents, employee benefits advisors, and CPAs, showcasing the benefits available through our proprietary planning tools and our team of advanced planning experts. The ideal candidate will leverage BUI's training and marketing resources to establish advisor connections through one-on-one interactions and group presentations.Training:BUI provides hands-on, organized training with a dedicated mentor who is currently experiencing success in a nearly identical position. The training starts with broad life insurance, customer service, and BUI-specific education. Over the course of two-to-three months, the training becomes more specific and focused. The Marketing Representative will be provided access to SalesForce, providing a proven road-map for success, greatly increasing the likelihood of long-term success.Experience, Education, and Certifications:Our preferred candidate will hold a minimum of a four-year degree with a focus on business or insurance. A life/health insurance license is mandatory, and a Series 6 (or higher) FINRA registration is highly advantageous. Two years in the retail sector or five years of experience in the wholesale sector would be a strong asset. Additionally, experience in delivering presentations to advisors and the general public is highly regarded.Compensation Package:BUI offers a competitive base salary, complemented by an incentive compensation structure tailored to your qualifications and background. The company currently covers the employee's healthcare costs, along with short and long term disability insurance, and a retirement plan with a generous salary match. BUI pays the full cost for office space, computer equipment, membership fees, entertainment, licenses, etc.
